Aim for the Target

We went out and shot my new gun day before yesterday. I got it for Christmas from Dearly Beloved. He knew I wanted one.

Tough to find a place where we won't hurt anybody. (I'm not kidding!)

Tough to find a place where we won't get arrested.

I was nervous. I hadn't shot a gun since many years ago with my dad and Dearly Beloved. Many years ago.

But I did it and I even hit the target! Several times!

It's hard to remember how to hold the gun, the proper and safe position. And, yes, I want to take classes. One thing at a time, though.

The best thing about it? Time spent with my husband. We had a blast!
