I have always journaled. To be honest, there is a tote in the basement jammed with spiral notebooks that are full of my scribblings.

Strathmore Journal

Now I’ve stepped up from spiral notebooks to this sketchbook/journal. In fact, I need to buy another. Seems like I just bought one! Also I buy some elsewhere.

The reason they fill up so fast these days is because they are used for doodling, plus journaling.

Yeah. I’m becoming who God saw. Doodling. Learning about me – Bonnie Lacy.

Are they flowers? Or pods? Or a colony of bug raptors?

Journals became story lines. Those lines grew into short stories, children’s books. And now I have written novels, children’s books, over fifty short stories and have written a screenplay.

Whew.

So, where do we go from here?
