Halfway through the year.
Almost July!
Wow. It's almost the 4th of July!
I wrote a post last February about the year 2017 and plans for 2018.
I did it on purpose to hold myself accountable.
It would even be good if you held me accountable! “Where's the book you promised? I can't find it. Where is that book?”
2017: I threw 52 books away, Baby Isaac went to heaven and we moved into our new home.
So far in 2018, checking Amy Knapp's BIG GRID Family Organizer, I have failed.
If you can call almost-ready-to-pubish a failure!
The photo on that post showed “Publish Book 3,” and “Website.”
Report: Book 3 is done in rough draft and is marinating. So that's progress. And after I publish two nonfiction books this summer, I will get back too Book 3.
The website has progressed also. A friend, who is patient and a techie, is helping me. He got Book Funnel and MailChamp to talk to each other in just an hour! Brilliant!
Baby Isaac sent another baby to our daughter's family–due the end of July! We're excited to meet her!
Our new home is blessed and we love living here. Photos to come.
My Blessed Desk!
In fact, I am writing this in my new office which sports a HUGE desk made by my son, of reclaimed wood. I. Love. It! His business, Mischievous Metals and Wood Wright Co. His Facebook page is here.
One thing I will respond to is my self-challenge–if I don't earn any profit in 2018, I will get a job. The funny thing is that a job kind of fell into my life from my son's business. (See above link.) I am head de-nailer! The money is perfect to help with publishing expenses and I love it! I love shops!
Also, I may not have published Book 3, but a nonfiction, Rage Rising: My Walk Through the Dark Tunnel of Anger, is almost ready.
It has been a tough experience: going back through old journals, reading painful entries, remembering.
But much needed for healing.
