A couple of months ago, a reader texted me with a few pictures of her order. Yay! Hopefully another satisfied reader. Always happy to hear how their order went.

How does something like that happen on Shopify? How does that happen when I have uploaded all of my books on my store and LuLu Direct is supposed to print and deliver (POD)?

We got it cleared up. She got her books and I learned a lesson. I sent the books myself from my own inventory and enjoyed signing them and adding my doodle cards to the box.

So this is the post about how I dug out what I really have on Shopify—the benefits, and the not so beneficial bits.

This is my plan that costs $348/year or $29/month.

     That is expensive and I don’t make enough income from sales to pay for that. But I will. When I break it down to per month, I actually do make that much per month, or more. Pretty satisfying to figure that out.

     Now I’m on their settings page and digging into each category, updating where needed. On the checkout page, they say I need to update my Thank You and Order Status pages. Okay. Let’s go.

     So I read through all that and clicked where I needed to change things. I also fixed a product to show that it’s active and not inactive. I clicked through every category and read through it, changing things as needed. Good to know what’s there.

     I’m not sure that I know much more, but it’s always good to go through it all to make sure that it’s correct. As far as I can tell!

     I’m sure also that there will be updates as time goes by.
