Today, I paid the lawn service bill.
It's $200.
How do people pay that much? The bill is due when you receive it, right? So how do you pay that, without not eating or selling your favorite fishing rod? Remember, if you have to sell that, you can't fish. And no fishing means, no fish. And no fish means no eating!
It might not be that drastic but some days, it feels that way.
Get a second … or third job? Make the ten year old kid mow lawns?
Now I don't want to show off or appear to be smarter than the average duck, but I paid the lawn care bill from my Lawn Care Cash Envelope.
I didn't feak out (well, sometimes in the spring when he fertizes or does some extra work, the bill will be more).
I just went to my Cash Envelopes and counted out the money, made a deposit at the bank, and wrote out the check from that account. Stamped the addressed envelope and sent it on its way.
Again, not trying to be a show-off, but it's a simple system.
And I have peace when I go to the mailbox each day.
