It's been a month or so since my last post but we now have a beautiful new granddaughter. Mommy needed help because there are four older brothers and a sister!

I'm excited because this is my first nonfiction published. And because this book ties in with my fiction series, The Great Escapee Series. (Yes, I know Escapee is not the usual spelling!)

If you've read the fiction, you are familiar with Clarence–an eighty-year-old man who has spent sixty years in prison and is being kicked out to a nursing home.

Right. Just another prison.

The nursing home is in the town where he grew up and is the location of the crime. He escapes from the nursing home and explores the town. Old memories confront him–haunt him. He is angry. Belligerent. Stubborn.

Me too.

Until Released was published, I didn't realize that Clarence is me!
